Our co-founder, Chloe, loves to help parents be Worker Bee Buddies. Book an easy, short training session with her here:

Worker Bee is Honeycomb’s community AI assistant. It extracts dates and to-dos from emails, so you don’t have to.
Worker Bee works alongside a Worker Bee Buddy: a parent who reviews Worker Bee’s calendar contributions for accuracy before publication for the rest of the classroom and school.

A well-organized parent might spend 30-60 mins/week on school calendar busywork: reading emails, copying over dates and to-dos into their personal calendar.
With Worker Bee, that parent can get the same result in less than 20 minutes per week. And that 20 minutes saves all the other parents in the school hours and hours of busywork per month.

Honeycomb’s smart calendar ensures all parents are on the same page. Parents can also sync the Honeycomb smart calendar to wherever they manage their dates and to-dos (Apple calendar, Google calendar, etc.)
Every classroom or group in your school can have up to two Worker Bee Buddies.
The Worker Bee Buddy is a great role for a room parent or other classroom representative, but any parent who is on top of their calendar can do it. Each classroom can have up to two Worker Bee Buddies (more than that can feel like too many cooks in the kitchen). Here’s how to become one:
Real life example: every date above was extracted by Honeycomb’s Worker Bee AI from various emails from the school.

Note: you need to publish or discard every date before the email and its summary is published in the “Emails & Dates” chat for all the other parents.
